Hello Artists!
The Organized Play team are here to extend a helping hand. During this year’s World Championship, we wish to support artists wishing to sell their Netrunner-related art who are unable to attend the event, or who will be playing in the main tournament and will not have time to staff a sales booth.
As you know, many large Netrunner events around the world have featured an Artist Colony booth, a space set aside for artists to put their Netrunner related art for sale, whether that’s alternate art cards, prints, or other items. This will be a feature in this year’s World Championship as well, and will be located next to the Null Signal Games merch booth and staffed by volunteers. Note that this is completely separate from the Worlds Art Gallery, a separate gallery space within Casa Rius (the tournament venue) which we are using to showcase pieces from the amazing community of Netrunner artists. (If you wish for your works to be displayed in the Art Gallery, incidentally, please remember that tomorrow, 1 September, is the last day you can apply for it!)
If you intend to play in the main event, or if you won’t be attending the event at all, the volunteers staffing the Artist Colony booth can sell your Netrunner-related products for you. If you wish to take advantage of this, please contact us by email! Please include a spreadsheet with the specifics of what you want us to sell for you, and how much you want to charge for each product.
If you will not be attending personally, we also need you to send us any products you’d like us to sell as soon as possible. Please take into account the time it can take to arrive in Spain when doing so. If it’s something that can be printed in Spain or Europe we suggest you do to avoid possible custom issues. For advice on places which can print your products in time, you can ask PSK via email or DM (@pspacekitten on both Discord and Stimhack Slack).
NSG won’t be covering any costs of printing, shipping or money-transfer for this. You are responsible for getting your merchandise produced and delivered to Barcelona in time for the event, whether you will be bringing it in person or sending it to us (we will provide a shipping address when you contact us by email if you wish to have it sent to us). We will not be charging you for the provision of sales volunteers. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of your items will be sent back to you, minus any costs we incur for receiving the items (including any customs charges applicable) on your behalf, or any costs incurred for the money transfer. If you wish any remaining stock to be shipped back to you, that will also be at your expense. At our current volunteer roster, we are able to provide 100% coverage at the booth, but we are not able to guarantee this in case of any unforeseen illness or other eventuality affecting the available number of volunteers.
