The Automata Initiative is now available as a pay-what-you-want Print-and-Play PDF in English, Catalan and Traditional Chinese, with additional languages (French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Simplified Chinese) soon to follow. See the The Automata Initiative product page for download options. The full set will be uploaded on NetrunnerDB and implemented for play on Jinteki.net today.
Players in the US, Canada, Australia and the EU can purchase physical copies from our new online store from today. However, fulfilment of EU customers’ orders from our online store will be delayed until at least 16th August, as per this announcement. The Automata Initiative will also be available from our print-on-demand partners at DriveThruCards and MakePlayingCards within the next week. Players in other regions should check out our Authorized Resellers – each reseller will provide information on when The Automata Initiative will be available through them. The release of The Automata Initiative will trigger a rotation in the Standard format. The following sets will be leaving the Standard cardpool:

- All data packs in the Flashpoint Cycle
The Standard cardpool will now contain the following sets:

- All data packs in the Kitara Cycle
- Reign and Reverie

The release of The Automata Initiative will not trigger a rotation in the Startup format.
The Automata Initiative becomes legal for Casual-tier organized play events immediately upon its release, and for Competitive-tier organized play events on 11th August 2023. The accompanying Standard rotation also takes place simultaneously. See our Supported Formats page for the full details.
Note: Null Signal Games Organized Play are making an exception to normal card legality policy for the Asia-Pacific Continental Championship (APAC). See this announcement for more details.
Our Rules Hub will be updated with the latest version of the Comprehensive Rules in the coming days, with additional card rulings and clarifications to be added to NetrunnerDB over the next few weeks. Players who have rules enquiries that they would like answered ahead of the Continental Championships can contact rules@nullsignal.games. There will not be an update to the Card Text Updates document with this release.
Finally, a pronunciation guide for all the names of cards, characters, and locations in The Automata Initiative will be available on its product page from 1st August.
