We’re excited to finally announce the location and dates for the 2024 Netrunner World Championship. Mark your calendars for October 18th-20th at the Hyatt San Francisco Embarcadero Waterfront Hotel in San Francisco, California.
We’re looking forward to three action-packed days of Netrunner. There will be a team tournament on Friday 18th, the Standard Main Event will start on Saturday 19th, and the Main Event Top Cut will take place on Sunday 20th, alongside a number of side events of different sizes and formats. Keep an eye out for further announcements on ticket sales, a call for volunteers and the exact schedule of the event.
While we are running the event out of a hotel, for logistical reasons we have not reserved any rooms for attendees this time around. But fear not! We will be launching a Worlds 2024 Discord server soon, where you can look for roommates and travel buddies, and make plans for other meetups around the event.
If you would like to come to Worlds but are in need of financial support to make the trip, however large or small your need, check out Run Together, a community project being organized in the Green Level Clearance Discord server (look for the #run-together-24 channel). They’re currently looking for artists to donate art for alternate-art cards, which will be sold to raise money to support as many people as possible to come to Worlds.
If you’re planning travel to San Francisco, there are few airports you can fly into. San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland International are on the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) network, putting them in easy reach of the venue.
