Lead Producer
As Lead Producer, you will have a key role in coordinating between teams in the NSG studio and supporting their work. You will work closely with the Design, Development, Rules, Narrative, and Visual teams to ensure the process of creating a set is smooth and each team has the resources they need. You will be responsible for tracking the progress of each set toward completion and providing regular updates to NSG as a whole about the timeline of key milestones. This role is primarily about communication and organization, and will give you the opportunity to shape the future of the studio by identifying gaps and needs, building processes and documentation to fill those gaps, and recruiting additional support staff to meet those needs.
Applications will close on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 and we will be recruiting 1 Lead Producer.
Duties
- Coordinate between teams in the NSG studio to help ensure set creation proceeds smoothly.
- Work with stakeholders across NSG to establish timetables for new product releases.
- Communicate major milestones, progress, and deadlines to all staff.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Assess the needs of the studio and work with Recruitment to bring in additional producers and/or other support staff.
Must-have skills
- Excellent communication: must be comfortable reaching out to individuals to discuss needs, challenges, deadlines, etc. as well as making org-wide announcements and ensuring information is available to staff generally.
- Adept at planning and organization.
- Able to apply creative problem solving to logistical challenges.
Preferred skills
(These skills would be nice, but can be learned in role)
- Experience with Airtable and/or project management software.
Workload
As Lead Producer, you will be expected to dedicate around 10 hours a week. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Eternal Balance Team Member
As a member of the Eternal balance team you will be working with the new Eternal Format Lead to release updates to Eternal with the goal of keeping the format competitive and diverse. You will also be a member of the team that works to ensure that Eternal is in a healthy place as a format as well as advocating for it within NSG.
Applications will close on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 (1 month) and we will be recruiting 1-2 Eternal Balance Team Members.
Duties
- Contribute to decision-making on future ban lists for the Eternal format.
- Help with communicating the Balance Team’s decisions to the community via blog articles.
Must-have skills
- An interest in competitive Eternal.
- A passion for seeing Eternal continue to be maintained and developed.
- In-depth knowledge about the competitive meta of the game (not necessary to be a high-level competitive player).
- Strong communication skills both within a smaller group and in writing banlists to the community
- Connected to the Netrunner community to gather feedback from community members of various skill levels.
Workload
The workload as an Eternal Balance Team Member is irregular. You will be expected to be able to spend about 10-20 hours of work in a 2 week period while a new banlist is being created. This will involve a 1-3 hour call with the rest of the team to discuss. As our team is split across the globe, some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Narrative Designer
The universe of netrunner is a vast space and as a Narrative Designer it will be your responsibility to fill that space and come up with the characters and locations that Netrunner will meet in the future! This includes both writing pieces of fiction for the NSG website but also working closely with the Visual and EDI teams to create the themes for the art on the new cards! To help you in your role you will be working alongside the other members of the Narrative team.

Duties
(No member of the Narrative team does everything on this list, but enough people do most of these that we’ve got everything covered twice)
- Worldbuilding, research, and ideation for future settings and stories.
- Pitching card names and flavour text for themed cards.
- Writing short fiction and character biographies.
- Proofreading and providing feedback on fiction.
- Creating documents such as pronunciation guides and lore repositories.
- Collaborating with the Visual team to create themes for new cards.
- Collaborating with the Development team to ensure a card’s design and theme remain cohesive throughout development.
- Collaborating with the Translation team to ensure Narrative intention is maintained.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Creating a lore repository.
- Researching worldbuilding for upcoming sets.
Must-have skills
- Very strong English language skills.
- A solid understanding of Netrunner’s setting, character, and themes.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace apps, including Docs and Sheets.
Workload
As a Narrative Designer, your work will come in bursts, with some points of the narrative process (such as during the initial Narrative-Visual theming process) having the expectation for you to check in every second day at least. In this period you will be expected to provide at least 5 hours a week to the work. Most of the time, the workload is not very demanding and you may have tasks such as researching an upcoming setting that can be spaced out however you think is best. There will also be team meetings once every month or two, but participation is not mandatory. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Associate Game Designer
In the role of Associate Game Designer you will be part of the team that is the first to create the mechanics of new netrunner expansions. This will involve being a part of the team that shapes the future this game will take. You will be working with other members of the Design team, and liaise with the Development and Standard Balance Teams.

Duties
- Design new content for upcoming Netrunner Expansions, including cards, mechanics, and decklists.
- Maintain set files and provide clear documentation of design intent.
- Conduct rigorous internal playtesting to inform iteration.
- Participate in weekly design team meetings.
- Create and refine paper prototypes.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Several upcoming NSG Netrunner expansions.
Must-have skills
- Design Thinking.

As an Associate Game Designer, you will be expected to provide 10+ hours a week to asynchronous design work, documentation, and internal playtesting. In addition there are weekly design meetings with the rest of the team that you will need to be able to attend. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Marketing Graphic Designer
As a Marketing Graphic Designer you will be the one responsible for making sure that NSG’s marketing material looks incredible and helping to make sure that our graphics use a consistent design language. In this position you will not only be working closely with the other graphic designer on the marketing team and the head of marketing, but also with most other teams in NSG to solve their graphic design needs.

Duties
- Create visually appealing and engaging designs for digital marketing materials, including social media graphics, website banners, email templates, infographics, and display ads.
- Develop brand identity elements, such as logos, icons, and visual guidelines, to maintain a consistent brand image across all platforms.
- Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and reflect the brand’s tone and messaging.
- Ensure graphics and messaging comply with our EDI guidelines.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Design a series of graphics for another team to be used for community outreach and recruitment purposes.
- Work with the Marketing team to design ads for the latest set release targeting several social media platforms.
- Design and produce localised marketing collateral to be distributed at upcoming conventions and events.
- Design and produce banners advertising regular meetups to be posted at meeting area bulletin boards.
- Design and produce posters that promote Netrunner at game stores that carry the game.
Must-have skills
- Please provide a portfolio of graphic design examples for social media and print work.
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in a digital marketing or advertising agency setting.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and channels, including social media, websites, and email marketing.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred skills

- Experience with web design and development, HTML, CSS, and responsive design is a plus.
Workload
As a Marketing Graphic Designer, expect to be actively working with our team a couple hours a week generally, and committing more time during the planning of a marketing campaign. You are encouraged to attend as many team meetings as you are available for, and expected to attend all meetings specific to individual marketing campaigns (up to 2 per year). Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Relationship Manager
Netrunner is a game all about the fantastic community that surrounds it and it will be your job as the Relationship Manager to both maintain current contacts with organisers and content creators but also to seek out new potential partnerships! To help you in your role, you will be working closely with the head of marketing, the entire marketing team, our community team, events team, conventions coordinator, social media manager, and web development team.

Duties
- Building relationships: Maintaining and improving relationships with community organisers, publications, and content creators.
- Identifying opportunities: Identifying opportunities for new potential partnerships and ways to improve how we support the community.
- Collaborating with teams: Working with marketing, community, OP (organized play), and production and distribution teams to improve content quality and drive community engagement.
- Developing new strategies and ideas that lead to increased engagement.
- Onboarding new partners: Ensuring a smooth transition for new partnerships and ensuring they have the support they need (static and motion graphics, photos, videos, preview copies, etc).
- Educating partners: Informing partners about the upcoming products and community events framed around our Mission and Vision.
- Content verification: Verify that content produced is aligned with our Mission and Vision.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Work with the marketing team to build a framework to organize content creator partnerships.
- Build a preview pack that can be sent to reviewers and content creators.
Must-have skills
- Relationship managers should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills. They should also be able to manage stress and work effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Effective goal-setting skills.
- Analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and campaigns
- Ability to work within varying (sometimes tight) time constraints.
Workload
In this role, expect to be actively working with the marketing team a couple hours a week generally, and committing more time during the planning of a marketing campaign or for analysis after a marketing push. You are encouraged to attend as many team meetings as you are available for, and expected to attend all meetings specific to individual marketing campaigns. Convention Coordinator
In the role of Convention Coordinator, it will be your job to organize the NSG presence at conventions and other events. You will be working closely with the advertising coordinator, as well as Social Media and Community teams to promote events. You will report to the Marketing and Engagement Leads. Beyond members of NSG, you will also have contact with volunteers and community representatives at events in addition to forming relationships with event organizers to ensure the staffing runs smoothly.

Duties
- Organize, book, and oversee convention attendance for NSG across the world. Including but not limited to PAX West, PAX East, PAX Aus, PAX Unplugged, Gencon, Spiel Essen, UKGE, and SHUX.
- Working with community members to support their attendance at smaller conventions.
- Create an “exhibitor pack” for our attendances.
- Strategize campaigns alongside the Advertising Coordinator.
- Arrange and manage staffing at conventions, booking tickets or passes for them, as well as travel and accommodation when relevant.
- Ensure materials are sent where required prior to the event.
- Work within a convention budget for the year.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Coordinating the production of marketing materials and logistics for booth reservations and merchandise for PAX West, PAX East, PAX Unplugged, PAX Aus, GenCon, GAMA, UKGE, Spiel ESSEN, and any smaller conventions that may occur.
Must-have skills
- Experience in attending conventions as an exhibitor is preferred.
- Organizational skills required to be able to manage events across the globe.
- Communicating with event organizers, staff and volunteers, as well as press attendance at conventions.
- Ability to delegate responsibility when required, as well as overseeing more directly when needed.
Workload
The workload is variable, with peaks around larger events. The ability to check in on emails regularly is important here, as this is largely a communications role. It is also important to hold meetings when relevant to ensure that staff are well prepared for events, which includes flexibility of timing to suit their needs. Travel to larger conventions would be encouraged although not essential.
As our team is split across the globe, some flexibility with time zones is going to be key to be able to brief and support staff going to conventions, and be available for problem solving if needed.
