You voiced your opinions in the seasonal OP surveys, we listened. For the last two OP season surveys, many of you voiced an overwhelming desire to have one Casual Tournament Kit per year contain something other than a playmat. The first non playmat CTK is available for sale now!
Note: Due to logistics issues, this kit is currently available only as a preorder in the UK. Orders placed from the UK will be dispatched as soon as we’re able. We will post an update to this article and on our social media when the issues are resolved. It will be dispatched immediately in all other regions.
To simplify our logistics, we will no longer be offering boosted CTKs. You can still run one event using multiple kits, but we no longer offer them bundled together. You will need to purchase multiple regular kits instead.

A 2026 H2 Casual Tournament Kit contains:
- 3× set of mark / psi game / Méliès U selector coins (designed by Kror)
- 15× Pinhole threading alt art (Illustrated by Zefanya Langkan Maega)
- 27× Doomscroll full art (Illustrated by Júlio Rocha)
- 6× Cezve alt art, originally from worlds 2023, not pictured (Illustrated by Balancesheet)
These kits are on sale while supplies last. The price of the Basic kit is $60 USD.
The price above is also intended to cover any applicable customs duties. We are aware that in some cases deliveries of our previous Casual Tournament Kit were charged customs duties even though they should not have been. Our process for this season should help resolve these issues, but should you be charged customs duties for your kit, please contact us and we will reimburse you.
Basic Prize Structure
- Winner: 2026 Circuit Breaker Invitational participation prize voucher
- Top 2: full set of mark/Psi game/ Méliès U selector coins
- Top 4: 3× Pinhole Threading alt art
- Top 8: 3× Doomscroll full art.
Each kit contains an additional set of each prize for the Tournament Organizer to keep or use as they see fit. The kit also contains 6x Cezve, which was originally issued during the 2023 World Championships. These alt arts can be used as side-event prizes, door prizes, or anything else at the Organizer’s discretion.
There is no limit on the number of Casual Tournament Kits each Organizer may purchase or run, as long as each event is supported by at least one kit. An entry fee may be collected to cover the cost of the kit (and venue hire, where applicable).
We encourage Tournament Organizers to supplement the prize pool with other prizes sourced from Game Night Kits or community creators. Players can log on to AlwaysBeRunning.net to find events, as well as claim their finishes on events they played in.
New Circuit Breaker Invitational Voucher
Starting with the 2026 competitive season, we are making the CBI more of a prestige chase. CTKs now only offer a voucher for the participation foil prize for the 2026 CBI. Players who claim this voucher will not be able to play in the tournament. As a result, we are allowing the prize to roll down beyond the winner if they already have one or choose to pass it on for any reason.
In order to play in the 2026 CBI, players will need to win an invite through competitive-level tournaments (District, Megacity, or Continental Championships, or the World Championship), or through Accelerated Meta Tests.
Event Restrictions
Casual Tournament Kits are Sanctioned events for the purposes of the Organized Play Policies. This means they are expected to follow the prize structure above. These events are classified as Casual level, and should also follow the guidelines for Casual level events outlined in the Policies. As a Sanctioned event, purchasing this kit means contracting an obligation to run a Casual Tournament Kit. Buying a kit to either keep or to resell undermines the spirit of these competitions and the legitimacy of the prizes which other players had to enter and place in a tournament to win.
Casual Tournament Kits can be run with any format. Tournament Organizers are expected to advertise their events on AlwaysBeRunning.net.
This event can be run until October 31st 2027 for the winner to be able to take advantage of their Circuit Breaker Invitational participation prize.
