Part of our commitment to provide access to Organized Play worldwide, our Online District Championships are an opportunity for players who may not have easy access to an in-person District Championship to play in during the first stage of our Competitive Season.
Players can play in any number of Online Districts and they are not in any way restricted by a player’s location (The Districts only have listed regions as an indicator of the most suitable time zone for the event). These events will be ticketed, with tickets available for $10 USD through EventBrite, however, anyone may choose to participate without purchasing a ticket – they will just be ineligible for prizing (any prizing they would have otherwise qualified for will be passed down to the next eligible participant)
Due to the lack of restrictions and the projected large turnout of participants, we believe that prizing at these events would be excessively difficult to obtain, beyond what we consider reasonable expectations for competitive tier prizes. To prevent too many players paying for tickets and receiving no prizing, all ticket holding participants will receive a playset of Spin Doctor alt arts, instead of only being provided to the top 24 placing players. Prizing will otherwise remain the same for these events.
EMEA Online District
Format: Standard (Single Sided Swiss) – Single Elimination Top Cut
