We are pleased to announce that the 2026 H1 Casual Tournament Kit is now available for purchase on our online store. There are two versions of the kit: Basic and Boosted. Each Tournament Organizer can pick the kit that best suits their expected number of players.
As originally mentioned back in November, the delays incurred during playmat production for the 2025 H2 CTK were significant enough that we have rebranded the kit to 2026 H1 CTK and cancelled the 2025 H2 CTK. The cards will say 2026 H1 but the mats will still say 2025 H2.
Despite this late release, we still hope to have a 2026 H2 CTK available for purchase this summer.

These kits are on sale while supplies last. The price of the Basic kit is $60 USD, and the price of the Boosted kit is $100 USD.
The price above is also intended to cover any applicable customs duties. We are aware that in some cases deliveries of our previous Casual Tournament Kit were charged customs duties even though they should not have been. Our process for this season should help resolve these issues, but should you be charged customs duties for your kit, please contact us and we will reimburse you.

Each kit contains an additional playset of Measured Response and Clean Getaway, plus an additional Plutus playmat, for the Tournament Organizer to keep or use as they see fit. The kit also contains 6x Anoetic Void, which was originally issued during the 2023 National Championships. These alt arts can be used as side-event prizes, door prizes, or anything else at the Organizer’s discretion.
Boosted Prize Structure
- Winner: 2026 Circuit Breaker Invitational participation prize voucher
- Top 4: Plutus playmat.
- Top 8: 3× Measured Response alt art
- Top 16: 3× Clean Getaway full art.

The kit also contains 12x Anoetic Void, which was originally issued during the 2023 National Championships. These alt arts can be used as side-event prizes, door prizes, or anything else at the Organizer’s discretion.
There is no limit on the number of Casual Tournament Kits each Organizer may purchase and/or run, as long as each event is supported by at least one kit. An entry fee may be collected to cover the cost of the kit (and venue hire, where applicable).
We encourage Tournament Organizers to supplement the prize pool with other prizes sourced from Game Night Kits or community creators. Players can log on to AlwaysBeRunning.net to find events, as well as claim their finishes on events they played in.
New Circuit Breaker Invitational Voucher
Starting with the 2026 competitive season, we are making the CBI more of a prestige chase. CTKs now only offer a voucher for the participation foil prize for the 2026 CBI. Players who claim this voucher will not be able to play in the tournament. As a result, we are allowing the prize to roll down beyond the winner if they already have one or choose to pass it on for any reason.
In order to play in the 2026 CBI, players will need to win an invite through competitive level tournaments (District, Megacity or Continental Championships or the World Championship), or through Accelerated Meta Tests. .
Event Restrictions
Casual Tournament Kits are Sanctioned events for the purposes of the Organized Play Policies. This means they are expected to follow the prize structure above. These events are classified as Casual level, and should also follow the guidelines for Casual level events outlined in the Policies. As a Sanctioned event, purchasing this kit means contracting an obligation to run a Casual Tournament Kit. Buying a kit to either keep or to resell undermines the spirit of these competitions and the legitimacy of the prizes which other players had to enter and place in a tournament to win.
Casual Tournament Kits can be run with any format. Tournament Organizers are expected to advertise their events on AlwaysBeRunning.net.
This event can be run until October 31st 2027 for the winner to be able to take advantage of their Circuit Breaker Invitational participation prize.
