The 2025 Netrunner World Championship is fast approaching! To help everyone plan their time in Edinburgh, we would like to share the planned schedule for all NSG-organized events happening during the weekend.
The big headline change for this year is that the main event on Saturday October 18th is starting an hour earlier than last year. This is to allow for a supper break later in the day. Please plan on being at the venue no later than 8:30 so that we can start on time.
Please note that these times are not set in stone and are subject to change as the weekend unfolds; tournament organizers will keep attendees in the loop at the event, so be sure to stay tuned while at the venue or check the announcements channel in the Worlds 2025 Discord Server.

Community-Run Side Events
Players are encouraged to run their own side events throughout the weekend. If you want to organize or participate in a side event, check out the appropriate channel of the Worlds 2025 Discord Server. Organizers should post side events they want to run before the actual tournament dates, especially if you or participants need to bring extra decks or materials.

Only players who have accrued enough tournament points to have a chance of making the top cut will be eligible to play in the graduated Swiss rounds on day 2. The required number of points will be determined and announced on the day of the event. Stay tuned to the Worlds 2025 Discord Server for the required cutoffs to play on day 2.
Prizing for the corp IDs awarded to the top half of players will be evaluated based on the standings at the end of round 11, so don’t worry if you don’t make it to day 2 of standard.
Sunday, October 19
Standard World Championship Main Event Day 2
Standard format – Swiss rounds (single-sided) & Top 16 cut
Only players who can potentially make the top cut will be allowed to play in standard on this day. If you did not make it to day 2, or missed the top cut, we encourage you to join the startup event or check the appropriate channel of the Worlds 2025 Discord Server for community-run side events which will be prize supported.
