World Championship byes, like Circuit Breaker invites, may be voluntarily passed down, but not beyond the Top Cut.

Our participation prize this year, B-1001, features 2024 Intercontinental Champion Jai in a stunning piece by Benjamin Giletti, depicting a look at what forced ejection from a run might look like.

In the pursuit of equitable access to prizing, Organized Play originally had plans to release the 2023 timed-exclusive Continentals prize (Steelskin Scarring by Ferenc Patkós) at multiple events, including Worlds 2023 and an undisclosed future solution for APAC region players. We are happy to finally be able to follow through on that promise at our first in-person APAC Continentals in Sydney, Australia. As an apology for taking so long on delivering this promise, all attendees of our first in-person Continental Championship in the southern hemisphere will be able to take home this extra participation prize.

All Continental Championship TOs will be provided with a number of the System Gateway Runner Avatar identity cards (featuring Loup, Zahya and Tāo), originally issued at the 2022 World Championship, to give out at their discretion. These identities will be using updated frames which include the pronouns of the runners, to match the new style introduced with Elevation.

The top half of each event will receive a very special set of Jeitinho alt arts. On the front, which is illustrated by Martin de Diego Sádaba, you can see the blueprints for the blade Mercury used to carry out three key assassinations during the story of the Liberation Cycle. On the back of each card, which are illustrated by Matheus Calza, you will find a “score area only” version to represent the assassination agendas. These back sides depict impactful moments from Mercury’s quest to prevent the Automata Initiative from passing, each with a unique piece of art and flavour text.

The top 8 players of each event will receive a double-sided click tracker made by Cullen O’Connor, featuring Haas-Bioroid- and Shaper-inspired colour schemes. With six spaces on either side, they will allow you to track all of your clicks, even if you gain a few extra!

That’s it for now. We’ll be back again in the not-too-distant future to announce some casual-tier prize kits!
