As the Video and Stream Editor, you will be facilitating the production of video content, both live and pre-recorded, as we work towards producing more promotional streams and videos. As a part of this role, you will be helping edit long-form streams down to more condensed VODs, helping create promotional videos and designing graphics to be used in any of these mediums.

- Carrying out simple edits to condense streams down into more accessible VODs.

As Social Media Manager, it will be your job to interact directly with the community through the Null Signal Games accounts on multiple social media sites both through creating excitement for events as well as responding to comments and questions on those pages. You will be working with the other Social Media Managers as well as the Community Team Lead and other Team Leads to make announcements and share news to the players and people outside of the organization.

As Retail Account Liaison, you will work within the Distribution team to help ensure that Null Signal Games’ wholesale program runs smoothly, is easy to use and maintains growth. To do this, you will be working with brick and mortar retailers who currently carry our product or may be interested in doing so in the future. The Distribution Team’s work is fairly steady and routine, and you will be working with them and the Support Team frequently to solve any issues. Occasionally you may also be working with the Marketing and Organized Play Teams for more special projects.

Beyond members of NSG, you will also have contact with volunteers and community representatives at events in addition to forming relationships with event organizers to ensure the staffing runs smoothly.

- Organize, book, and oversee convention attendance for NSG across the world. Including but not limited to PAX West, PAX East, PAX Aus, PAX Unplugged, Gencon, Spiel Essen, UKGE, and SHUX.

- Create an “exhibitor pack” for our attendances.
- Strategize campaigns alongside the Advertising Coordinator.
- Arrange and manage staffing at conventions, booking tickets or passes for them, as well as travel and accommodation when relevant.

- Work within a convention budget for the year.

The workload is variable, with peaks around larger events. The ability to check in on emails regularly is important here, as this is largely a communications role. The Organized Play Policy Writer is responsible for ensuring that the policies which govern tournament organization, judging and alternate art legality at events are kept up to date and in line with the needs of the Organized Play Team and the player base in general. The role-holder will be highly involved with the Organized Play and Rules Teams to ensure that pressing concerns are reflected in updates to the Policy. You will also be working with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity Team to ensure that tournament organization and all things related to events are as open to all as possible.

Prize Coordinator is the position within the NSG Organized Play team that is responsible for sourcing the contents of prize kits, and ensuring that they are sent on time and arrive at their intended locations. Workload
Most of the workload for this role involves only a few minutes on most days of responding to questions about the status of sent prizing from players. Also expect to spend about 5-6 hours managing the various tasks related to each specific prize kit. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Can you run the net in multiple languages?
Null Signal Games is committed to ensuring as many people around the world as possible can play Netrunner in the language of their choice. Your work as a translator is essential to making this happen! As a translator, you will work with the other translators for your language to translate upcoming card sets (and older card sets, if they don’t already exist in your language) and the NSG website. You will be joining a motivated team, with a mix of people who have been translating for NSG since the beginning and newer recruits.
Duties
- Translating card text for upcoming sets using our translation software to translate all the text on a card
- Proofreading cards before publication by checking the final cards for layout issues, typos, inaccuracies, etc.
- Translating website text in our ongoing project to translate our website using our translation software
Must-Have Skills
- Native speaker of the language you will be translating into (usually your mother tongue), with excellent written language skills
- Excellent English skills, sufficient to grasp the nuances of both rules text and flavor text and to communicate with other NSG members
- Attention to detail
- Good IT skills – able to quickly learn how to use new software (translation software)
Preferred Skills
- Translation experience, especially with board/card/videogames
- Good time management
- Deep knowledge of the Netrunner rules and card pool
- Self-motivated and patient

Playtesters are the first people to interact with the new cards that the Design and Development teams create. It will be your job as a playtester to test the new cards as much as possible and offer feedback on the impact new cards have on your games. Both creative deckbuilders and people who just enjoy getting lists from other people and putting them through their paces are encouraged to become playtesters, to ensure that cards are well tested before they are finalised and printed in the newest Netrunner sets! This is not a formal role with Null Signal Games, but you will still communicate with the playtest department to provide your feedback on how the cards feel to play.
Applications will stay open for two weeks.
Duties
- Playtest upcoming in-production netrunner card sets.
- Provide feedback on test games and experiences with cards.
- Keep confidentiality around any unreleased cards.
- Learn and employ principles for good qualitative feedback.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Playtesting for currently unreleased NSG Netrunner sets.
Must-have skills
- Detail-oriented nature.
- A good understanding of Netrunner and how it is played (casually or competitively).
- Ability to compare and judge cards based on existing benchmarks/meta strategies.
Workload
It is expected that playtesters are able to commit a minimum of 2 hours a week on playtesting sets and providing feedback on those games. As it is all online and done in your own time, there is no need to be available for meetings, although the Development team will host meetings occasionally for you to give direct feedback.
