With the 2026 Organized Play season underway, we are excited to announce the locations and prizing for this year’s Continental Championships! Start planning to make daring meta calls, brew unorthodox decks, or just come along for a good time!
In-person Continental Championship Dates
This year we will once again be running both in-person and online Continental Championships for the APAC, Americas, and EMEA regions. We are still finalizing online event dates, but intend to avoid conflicts with any in-person Continental dates if able.
Below you can find links to the AlwaysBeRunning.net pages for all in-person Continental Championship events, as well as event details and ticket sale links when they become available. As a reminder, all players are welcome to attend any number of Continental Championships.
July 31 – August 2: Americas Continentals at Cascadia, Seattle USA
August 21 – 23: EMEA Continentals, Nottingham UK
September 11 – 13: APAC Continental Championship, Melbourne Australia
Prize Structure
Winner: First round bye for the 2026 World Championship in Montreal (ticket not included), invitation to the 2027 Circuit Breaker Invitational Championship
Top 8: Lethe Playmat (illustrated by Qistina Khalidah)
Top 16: Enameled Editorial Division identity card
Top half: Phật Gioan Baotixita alt-art (illustrated by Dimik)
Participation: The Class Act alt-art (illustrated by Benjamin Giletti)
World Championship byes, like Circuit Breaker invites, may be voluntarily passed down, but not beyond the Top Cut.
Additionally, each Continental Championship kit includes a number of reissued Borealis cycle Runner Avatar identities (illustrated by Ferenc Patkós) with updated card frames. These are available for distribution at the TO’s discretion.
Also available at TO discretion are 2026 Continental Championships stickers featuring the Continentals crown logo.
An additional set of five Editorial Division identities and Lethe playmats will be provided to the TO to keep as a thank you for organizing, or to distribute at their discretion.
Why are playmats more exclusive this year?
You may have noticed that unlike previous Continental Championships, where playmats were awarded to the Top 16, they are now exclusively for the Top 8.
Over the past few months we’ve been working on making foiled playmats feasible for Continentals, and we’re excited to announce that this year’s Lethe playmat for Top 8 placing competitors will be gold-foiled! See below for some samples of the Lethe playmat direct from our manufacturer.
Note: Only the Top 8 placing playmats are foiled, the 5 additional playmats provided to TOs will not be foiled.
This year we’re happy to also reveal the new enameled Editorial Division identity available for Top 16 placing players at each Continental Championship, complete with a recognition of your placement on the back side.
