While District Championships are still continuing around the world, we’re excited to reveal the contents of the upcoming Megacity Championship Prize Kit! Megacity organizers are currently working to confirm dates for their events, and some may have already announced their dates and locations. Remember to check out alwaysberunning.net for tournament listings as they’re released.
Prize Structure
- Winner: Bye for any 2026 Continental Championship, invitation to the 2027 Circuit Breaker Invitational Championship
- Top 2: Overclock Card Sleeves (illustrated by Scott Uminga)
- Top 4: Methuselah playmat (illustrated by Marlon Ruiz)
- Top 16: Devil Charm alt art (illustrated by Si F Sweetman)
- Top 36: Ping alt art (illustrated by Ed Mattinian)
- TO’s Discretion (6 playsets): Business as Usual alt art (illustrated by Yuka Hu)
We have brought back Overclock sleeves for this year’s Megacities. The top 2 players will each receive 2 packs of Overclock sleeves (each containing 50 sleeves).
Continental Byes and Circuit Breaker Invites may be voluntarily passed down, but not beyond the Top Cut (or top 2).
Prize kits will contain instructions on how to accept and redeem byes from District Championships.
Each kit also includes 3 extra playsets of Devil Charm and Ping, an extra pack of Overclock sleeves, and an extra Methuselah playmat for organizers to keep as a reward for their efforts or to use as they see fit. The kit also includes 6 playsets of the Business as Usual alt art which was originally available as part of the 2024 World Championship.
