Null Signal Games is currently recruiting for two new roles: one in the Studio Coordination team and one in the Community Team. The Studio Coordination Team ensures that the people working to create new cards have clear deadlines and are able to meet them. The Community Team is responsible for managing the creation of content for players and fans of the game to enjoy.

Production Designer
As a production designer you will be working to ensure the highest quality possible for all of NSG’s physical products. This will involve layout of the cards as well as product boxes as well as some graphic design work. In this position you will be responsible for bringing together the work of all of our studio teams into the final product and delight in the satisfaction of being able to see it on store shelves and hold it in your own hands.

Duties
- Preparing print-ready card files, box design and ancillary materials for new set releases.
- Creating new game assets and improving existing ones.
- Performing quality control checks on digital proofs and physical materials.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Layout of future cycles.
- Layout of translated versions of new and existing sets.
- Participate in efforts to improve the design and quality of our physical products.
Must-have skills
- Experience with Affinity, Photoshop, or other similar visual editor programs.
- Page Layout.
- Page File Layout & Preparation.
- Vector Graphics Editing.
- Colour Space Management.
Preferred skills
(These skills would be nice, but can be learned in role.)
- Ability to make improvements to the existing production workflows.
- Familiarity with the existing Netrunner product.
Workload
You will be expected to commit roughly 5 hours of work a week, however the workload may increase during the final production stages. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.

Video and Stream Editor
As the Video and Stream Editor, you will be facilitating the production of video content, both live and pre-recorded as we begin to do more promotional streams and videos. As a part of this role, you will be helping edit long-form streams down to more condensed VODs, helping create promotional videos and designing graphics to be used in any of these mediums.
Applications will close once we’ve filled 1 position.
Duties
- Editing long streams to condense them into shorter, more accessible VODs.
- Creating promotional videos for future releases and rules explanations.
- Uploading to the NSG YouTube channel.
- Designing transitions and other graphics for use in future videos and streams.
Current/Upcoming Projects
- Editing streams to make them look more professional.
- Creating custom videos for the Null System Games YoutTube channel.
Must-have skills
- Experience in at least 1 major video editing software.
- Ability to create simple video effects in after effects or equivalent software.
- A computer that can handle this software without significant difficulty.
- Basic understanding of Netrunner.
- Audio balancing/editing knowledge.
Preferred skills
(These skills would be nice, but can be learned in role.)
- Graphic design knowledge preferred.
- Experience with youtube or streaming preferred.
Workload
No more than 3-4 hours per week, typically. There will be meetings to attend with the department and check-ins during editing; some weeks could entail more hours than this when taking into account rendering times. Our team is split across the globe, so some flexibility with time zones is helpful for meetings.
