We are pleased to announce that all 2026 District Championships and Megacity Championships have been awarded to their respective tournament organizers! As a reminder, while District Championships can be a one day event, Megacity Championships are intended to be run as two day events. 

Megacity prizing will be announced in the near future, but in the meantime we’re excited to reveal the 2026 District Championship Prize Kit! 

This year’s District Prize Kit includes a fashionable Fully Operational and a sharp Raindrops Cut Stone, both illustrated by Amirul Hhf. The players managing to make it to the top of each District Championship will also win a playmat featuring the art of Scrounge, also by Amirul Hhf. 

Prize Structure

• Winner: Bye for any 2026 Megacity Championship, invitation to the 2027 Circuit Breaker Invitational Championship
• Top 4: Scrounge playmat (illustrated by Amirul Hhf)
• Top 8: Raindrops Cut Stone alt art (illustrated by Amirul Hhf)
• Top 24: Fully Operational alt art (illustrated by Amirul Hhf)
• TO’s Discretion (6 playsets): Mavirus alt art (illustrated by Cat Shen)

Each kit contains an extra playset of Raindrops Cut Stone and Fully Operational, and an extra Scrounge playmat, for the Tournament Organizer to keep as a reward for their efforts or to use as they see fit. Each kit also includes 6 playsets of the Mavirus alt art originally made available at the 2023 World Championship in Barcelona.

As a reminder, both District and Megacity Championships provide first round byes (i.e. an automatic round win) for the next level of competitive Organized Play. If you win a bye through a District Championship, it must be used at a Megacity event this year. If you win a bye through a Megacity Championship, it must be used at a Continental Championship this year.
